Co-creating with companies

Both the state of Berlin, the federal government and the European Union offer a variety of programs on thematic priorities such as energy, mobility and ICT, as well as other current challenges facing the smart cities of tomorrow. Often there are specific submission deadlines or other access requirements that need expert knowledge. We therefore work closely with the cluster experts at the Economic Development Agency.

City Resilience Hack – September 24–25 in Tallinn

The City of Tallinn and Tehnopol, the largest research and business park in the Baltic States, together with their partner cities Valencia, Helsinki, Dnipro, and Lviv, invite you to the international City Resilience Hack. The competition, which will take place in Tallinn from September 24 to 25, 2026, aims to connect talents, teams, and startups with cities to develop practical solutions for challenges related to urban resilience, maintenance of services, and the strengthening of communities.

Cyber-secure administrative workplace of the future

Through the HAL 2027 competition, the Cyberagentur is seeking unconventional ideas on what the administrative workplace of the day after tomorrow might look like. Researchers, start-ups, universities and companies can take part by submitting brief proposals. The deadline for entries is 18 August, 2026.
