Both the state of Berlin, the federal government and the European Union offer a variety of programs on thematic priorities such as energy, mobility and ICT, as well as other current challenges facing the smart cities of tomorrow. Often there are specific submission deadlines or other access requirements that need expert knowledge. We therefore work closely with the cluster experts at the Economic Development Agency.

City Challenge Berlin 2025: die Gewinner

Die Würfel sind gefallen: Gewinner der ersten City Challenge sind die Groundkeeper GmbH aus Kiel und die Augnum GmbH aus Münsingen. Am 10. November überreichte die Berliner CDO Martina Klement die Urkunden und gab damit den symbolischen Zuschlag für die Entwicklung der Prototypen.

Data Hub Berlin – Core Infrastructure for Smart City Berlin

On November 6, 2025, green light was given for the launch of the website showcasing the prototype of the Data Hub Berlin. For the first time, this prototype provides a central data platform for Berlin’s administration, enabling faster and improved data collection, processing, and presentation.
