OPEN DATA PORTALS

More and more German municipalities, such as Berlin and Cologne, as well as individual authorities at various political levels, are operating open data portals. On a voluntary basis, they post official data on many - in the best case, all - administrative areas on these portals. Citizens, business, science and other administrations are able not only to find out about the available data, but can also develop new applications by freely accessing the information.
