Data Exchange and Cooperation in an Urban Space
The aim of the project is to have an overview of urban data situations, potentials and requirements. Considering the Smart City charta, recommendations for action for the development of urban data rooms are vocalised. The main focus lies on the configuration of the data usage, specifically on a local scale. Urban data platforms should be technologically improved. This way exchangeable, generic, diverse and compatible IT components can be reused or reformed. All cities and municipalities can benefit from this, as various components can adapt to specific needs of municipalities. Cities receive comprehensive options for action, for the construction of urban data rooms, which respect their needs. The cities receive a technical and professional frame. By using an interoperable approach a generic Smart-City-Architecture is created, avoiding isolated applications.
