Berliner Energieagentur GmbH (BEA) is a modern energy services company in Berlin. It develops and implements innovative projects to reduce energy costs and CO₂ emissions. Clients include public and non-profit institutions, property developments and housing companies, industry, retail, commerce, hospitals, and the entire service sector. BEA was founded in 1992 on the initiative of the Berlin Senate. The State of Berlin, Vattenfall Europe Wärme AG, GASAG Berliner Gaswerke AG, and KfW Bankengruppe hold equal ownership interests in the company.
