The CleanTech Business Park as a Berlin’s future spot (Zukunftsort) offers a lot of potential to one of the key future-oriented industries. Additionally, the park is a official industrial area, with the possibility also to settle so-called Störfallbetriebe. Due to this special fact almost all kinds of industrial production processes are allowed, even those who are forbidden in other construction areas. The park belongs to the eastside industrial park, where nowadays already 2500 companies are placed. Within close proximity to the park the CleanTech Innovation Center is located, it is home for startups in the clean and sustainable technologies sector.
