Biotech-Campus Berlin-Buch

More than 6.000 jobs are offered by the health economy, almost 3.000 of them in basic and clinical research. The BiotechPark Berlin-Buch belongs to the leading technological parks in Germany. One hallmark of Campus Berlin-Buch is the close connection between basic and  patient orientational research. This allows the development and application of future-oriented diagnostics and therapies. In 2013 the Berliner Institut für Gesundheitsforschung/Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) was founded which is another milestone in generating this synergies. The BIH is home of bundling translational research with focus on an interdisciplinary approach of systematic medicine between „Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft (MDC)“ and „Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin“, one of the biggest pan-European university hospitals.
