Model Apartment Pflege@Quartier

With "Pflege@Quartier", GESOBAU AG has developed a new residential and supply concept together with tenants in the large housing estate Märkisches Viertel. It takes into account aspects such as technology, care needs, social services and access barriers. From 2015 to 2018, 30 apartments were equipped with analog everyday aids and digitally networked products in line with demand and economically justifiable, and a business model was devised for the future.

Since the official opening of the model apartment on 5 May 2017, GESOBAU tenants and interested residents have been able to find out about simple technical solutions and everyday aids in a model apartment in the Märkisches Viertel that enable or facilitate self-determined living in old age.
