Currently 76,500 m2 are used for offices, commercial purposes and storage, while 128,500 m² are available potentially for being developed and used. In addition the following projects are envisaged:
Tower THF, a history gallery on the roof of the airport with a 360° view;
The building H2rund (started during the third quarter of 2018); The former officers‘ mess is to be changed into modern offices, event rooms as well as public and gastronomic areas and in this way integrate the well-known and listed complex once again into the city.
The open area of the Tempelhof Airport is to be turned into green urban spaces and to be used for urban gardening.
Tempelhof Airport, a listed building, will not only become a creative location but will also offer citizens the opportunity to participate in various concepts in order to turn the quarter into a lively and liveable place.
