Science and Technology Park Adlershof

With its approximately 1000 enterprises, 16 scientific institutions, two founder centres, more than 16,000 employees and about 6700 students, the Adlershof is today the largest location of science, economy, and media in Berlin und Brandenburg. Adlershof is an ideal location for research- and technology-oriented use with a potential for further growth.  In order to support the linking between economy, science and research in Adlershof further, the Senate Administration for Economy, Energy and Public Enterprises has promoted - amongst others - the construction of the Centre for Photo-voltaics and Renewable Energies that was opened in 2013, with about 25 million Euros from GRW sources [programme supported by the government, states and the EU]. Furthermore, also promoting the development for further commercial areas between the Groß-Berliner-Damm and Betriebsbahnhof Schöneweide ready for building is supported with GRW-funds with the objective to increase the attractivity of the Adlershof location for further enterprises to be set up here.
