Impulses and Solutions for the Smart City Eco System Berlin

Smart City Berlin welcomes interested parties to its joint stand at the Smart Country Convention from 26 to 28 October 2021. Now in its fourth year, SCCON focuses on digital solutions for the public sector.

Above all, the sum of its disciplines and actors is what makes Berlin so unique: for example the CityLAB Berlin with its society-centric approach; the Smart Cities division of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology with its close business network; and Tegel Projekt GmbH, which is creating one of Europe’s most interesting new urban developments. At its trade fair stand, Smart City Berlin will also provide information on the call for the  "Smart Cities Model Projects" programme, initiated by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community.

Since 2018, Smart City Berlin has been a constant partner of the Smart Country Convention – Germany’s leading trade fair for e-government, smart cities and smart regions. This year, things are expected to be just as dynamic at hub 27 on the exhibition grounds of Messe Berlin as they were before the pandemic, thanks to the hybrid nature of the trade fair.

In general, the range of topics at the Smart City Berlin stand address experts and other interested parties who want to find out more about Berlin’s solutions and use cases, engage in discussions and network with others. However, the joint stand is particularly interesting for decision-makers and modernisers in public administration and the public economy; innovation managers; as well as smart city and digital officers. Talks on specific topics and interactive workshops will take place over the course of the trade fair, and all events will be broadcast via a live stream.

The programme of the Smart City Berlin joint stand will be published here four weeks prior to the launch of the 2021 Smart City Convention. Stay tuned!

  • At least 20 partners from various disciplines within the Smart City Berlin network will present their projects and solutions.
  • In 10 minutes or less, they will give visitors a compact overview of the diverse range of solutions that are so characteristic for the dynamic and lively Smart City Berlin.

The joint stand at the 2021 SCCON is organised by the Smart Cities division of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology.

The Smart City Berlin network is an alliance of more than 150 companies, science and research institutes, associations, chambers and the state of Berlin.
