Which projects, products, system solutions and start-ups are best in the field of smart homes – and which is Berlin’s smartest climate protection project? This year, the SmartHome Initiative Deutschland (Smart Home Initiative for Germany) is once again honouring particularly innovative German companies with the SmartHome Deutschland Award (SmartHome Germany Award). The deadline for applications ends 31 March 2023.

The initiative aims to help prize winners establish themselves on the smart home market and views itself as a mediator between developers; manufacturers; specialist retail trade; skilled crafts and trades; industry associations; and private and commercial users. With the award, the initiative also points out the high technological standards on the smart home market – and shows that smart homes are an affordable option for everyone, including for existing housing.

The 2023 SmartHome Germany Award ceremony will take place at Rotes Rathaus in Berlin on 23 May. The three best applicants in each category will be announced by the end of April.
